Brazil-Porto Alegre

The German Chamber of Commerce Abroad (AHK) has been present in Brazil since 1916, first in Rio de Janeiro and shortly afterwards in São Paulo. The AHK in Rio Grande do Sul, based in the state capital Porto Alegre, was initially established in 1949 as a branch of the AHK São Paulo and finally became independent in 1955.
